What if I can't attend all the classes?  Will I be able to still receive a certification?

Completion of all hours are required by The Yoga Alliance.  It is not recommended that any days are missed.  In the case of emergency a make-up session(s), relating to the missed period of time will be arranged.  The fee for the original weekend is still required, the additional hours will also be fee-based with the director, or the presenter. 

What are the required education materials?

Ashtanga Yoga - the Practice Manual, David Swenson
Yoga Anatomy by Leslie Kaminoff

Any book that includes the Yoga Sutras (wait till first weekend, see some, then order)

There is also a recommended reading list that will be distributed, as well as outside the classroom requirements, that will be listed and discussed at the beginning of the program.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

Yes, you are required to have the following equipment.  The rest will be provided by the studio.

Yoga sticky mat
Strap with buckle (8 ft.)
Blanket 
Blocks (2, foam)

How do I apply?

Applicants will be chosen on a first come basis (with deposit).  Your experience will be determined through your application and an interview.  Be prepared in the interview to practice some asana, or plan to attend some classes at Core Bodyworks for this determination.

To apply please print and fill out this form. Then, reserve your spot with a deposit.

A $100 deposit is due with application submission. The tuition and fees paid by the applicant shall be refunded if the applicant is rejected by the school before enrollment. All tuition and fees paid by the applicant shall be refunded if requested within 5 business days of submitting application to the school. Once 5 business days have elapsed no refunds will be given. All refunds shall be returned within 30 days.
