Introduction to T'ai Chi, including T'ai Chi for Back Pain

Dr. Paul Lam, with a panel of tai chi and medical experts, has developed specific forms of tai chi movements which benefit those suffering with back pain, arthritis, diabetes, osteoporosis and other conditions. These movements can be performed safely by anyone, and can be done standing, sitting or lying. Tai Chi benefits everyone, whether you suffer from any of these conditions or not.
In this workshop we will discuss the many benefits of practicing tai chi. We will explore how it benefits the physical body, as well as how it reduces stress and promotes relaxation and a feeling of wellness. We will also practice some tai chi and qigong movements to give you a taste of the tai chi experience. You will leave feeling refreshed and energized!
