Or so said Joe Pilates. His method is a conditioning system designed to strengthen the stabilizing muscles of the body, mobilize the spine, and increase range of motion. Through this balanced approach, one can lengthen and strengthen all of the muscles.
We have all of the equipment that Joe originally engineered and created. His system involves engaging the body to work against resistance and unstable motions, thus helping the student to become aware of muscle actions that can be controlled.
Our "special beginner offer" of three Pilates private sessions for $165 teaches students the foundational principles. He or she can then move further through the routines Pilates suggests or enter fitness training to build a stronger core and more supple spine.

With her background in triathlon, fitness training, yoga, massage and Pilates, she builds your understanding of movement and can quickly advance your training capabilities. Customized specifically to meet your needs and goals, your program will be structured to reduce your weaknesses and broaden your physical abilities.
It all starts with strength , flexibility and moving from your center. When you build in balance, you move that way throughout your daily activities, as well as your athletic ones. Training this way prevents injuries, you can take it as far as you like.
